Watch me gluing a 3d-printed PLA fursuit head base together with Plaast (Polycaprolactone pellets that melt at 62°C).

Alternatives to Plaast are Hand Moldable Plastic, Mold-Your-Own Grips, InstaMorph, Shapelock, Friendly Plastic or Polymorph)

Use a heat gun at low heat setting to heat the material up to 62°C. Stop heating when it turns transparent. Do not let is get too hot - otherwise, it will get extremely sticky. If you want to sculpt it by hand (warning: it's dangerous if the material is too hot) make sure your skin is smooth (using hand lotion helps to prevent it from sticking to your skin).

It cools faster if spread thinly - heat it again if it turns white too soon.

Press the parts together and align them. Wait till it cools down.
