edit: a viewer explained that this tutorial can feel distracting and information dump-y in the second half so i'm going to explain the motive behind the video in case others feel the same way. it was made as a one time thing for beginners despite my audience not really being beginners because i didn't like how the existing tutorials i watched showed each tool separately at the beginning of the video instead of how and when to use them in an actual drawing. so i showed how to use tools and features in the order i used them for an unlined artwork and a lined artwork because a lot of us draw line art and a lot of us don't. the reason why it gets fast paced later on is because i imagined the viewers to have started a drawing with me while watching the tutorial so that they could apply it to their own work and pause, so that they don't have to waste time watching a time-lapse in between each feature, which is why at the beginning of the video, i told everyone to open clip studio paint. also because i wanted the actual tutorial to be under 30 mins for the same reason; to save you time.
my tutorial style is to give you the most amount of information in the shortest amount of time for efficiency. it's definitely not for everyone, maybe not for complete beginners, because that can be hectic and overwhelming. so i apologize if that was the case for you. if it does work for you, that's great. i hope that everyone can at least learn something useful or enjoy the video in general, as i tried to make it entertaining to watch.
