In this video, we are sharing our journey to win a popular competition among Food Science students called "Developing Solutions for Developing Countries" by Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) on July 2022 in Chicago.

Arnold and Yola are food science PhD students studying in Poznan University of Life Sciences, Poland. They have published their scientific works in some prominent publishers, namely Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis. Their journey to learn food science started from 2013. Their current research interests are the development of functional food (Arnold) and the authenticity study of edible oil (Yola).

📌Covered by IFT:
IFT EXPO entrance ticket (free voucher for finalists, all day)
Flight tickets back and forth (max. 1500 USD/team, paid via reimbursement)
📌Not covered by IFT:
IFT Student Membership (at least 1 team member must have a membership to join the competition, and if got selected in the final, all team members have to have the membership)
Visa to USA
Accommodation and living expenses in the USA (we need to find a sponsor for example to cover the hotels, or ask for our government's help just like we did)
