How to Make a Garrys Mod Server
Instructions:
1. Head over to https://developer.valvesoftware.com/w..., and download " https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/clien... ",
2. Extract "steamcmd.exe" from the .zip file (with winrar - http://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0) to where you want to install SteamCMD
3. Run SteamCMD, wait for files to download for SteamCMD, and then login with your Steam account and password (you will have to authorize your account with a Code), then close SteamCMD, and login in with "login anonymous"
4. Choose the directory where you wish to install your server folder
Example: force_install_dir C:\gmod\gmod
5. Install the server
Example: app_update 4020 validate
^ This will install the game, and validate all of the files ^

How to port forward:
1. Open Command Prompt (Window + R. Type cmd, and press enter)
2. Type "ipconfig" and find your "default gateway"
3. Open your web browser, and type your default gateway in.
4. Login (default - Username: admin - Password: password)
5. Find where your router allows you to add new ports to forward.
6. Go into Command Prompt and find your "IPv4" address after you type "ipconfig" and use that as your port to forward from, and use "27015" as the default port to forward.
7. Start your server, and that's it!
