RISE Program: Elias Zauscher
Throughout the summer, several CCEE students are taking part in our Research Internship Summer Experience (RISE) program, conducting research while being mentored by faculty, post-doctoral fellows and advanced graduate students. Elias Zauscher is a recent CCEE environmental engineering graduate who is pursuing his Ph.D. in the fall. He is working with Dr. Emily Berglund to study water use in Australian homes, utilizing an Agent Based Model to simulate water trading between the homes to find the effect that hybrid water sources (rain water, gray water, bore water) have on municipal water and groundwater.
