RISE Program: Rhodenischelah Limage
Throughout the summer, students from across the world are taking part in CCEE's Research Internship Summer Experience (RISE) program, conducting research while being mentored by faculty, post-doctoral fellows and advanced graduate students. Rhodenischelah Limage, an environmental engineering student at Bucknell University, is spending her summer working alongside CCEE Ph.D. candidate Nancy Ingabire Abayo and Associate Professor Dr. Brina Montoya. They are focusing on how increasing the angle of inclination of soil deposits affects soil shear strength under the overall research goal to reduce variability in liquefaction-induced lateral spreading.
