This small organization has been quietly but consistently working and achieving some incredible results. ISRO is the first space agency to land a spacecraft on the moon's south pole, and land on Mars in its first attempt, and that too in a budget less than that of a Hollywood movie. In August 2023, when Chandrayan-3 landed on the Moon's south pole, it was a pride moment for 1.4 billion Indians. This landing was more special after a failed attempt of Chandrayaan-2 in 2019 that crashed onto the moon's surface before landing.
