All information in this video is based on the state of the Spiral Abyss as of the CN open beta. Though unlikely, technically everything I mentioned here could still change before or even after global release.
At its core, thee Spiral Abyss is like any other Abyss/Tower type of game mode that you know from other (gacha) games in that it offers you a series of stages that you need to clear consecutively to be able to proceed to the next stage. As you get deeper and deeper into the content, the enemies become harder to defeat and rewards get better, too.
The first half of the Spiral Abyss is one-time-only content. You have to battle your way through this first part to get to the Abyssal Moon Spire, the latter half which resets every two weeks on the 1st and 16th of every month. Rewards are reset, too, allowing you to farm them up to two times per month.
Since the Spiral Abyss rewards Primogems, it is one of the go-to sources for a stable, F2P income of this valuable exclusive currency.
