Background:
I have been away now for almost a whole year, so I decided to read up on things I missed while being away, one interesting topic was the critter damage transfer bug that happened in May
https://www.wowhead.com/news/damage-t...

Keeping that in mind, I started testing other fun stuff involving rogues, when I accidentally hit a critter and healed for 1k health. Which I found odd since the hit itself only did about 1.7k damage... and my leech was 0.01%

The heal should have been less than 1 health, not 1 000.

Then I decided to test it with a frost mage 2 set bonus, that deals 15% of your Glacial Spike damage to nearby enemies and the results were wonderful!

It did a whole 204 MILLION damage on me. This made me realise that the fix done by Blizzard must have been broken in the prepatch, or maybe leech and the 2 set bonus for frost mage just overrided it.

While damage "looks" normal on critters, damage transfer still acts like the critter took a huge chunk of damage!

So the next step was simply to kite a critter inside the latest raid Amirdrassil, with the help of death grip and polymorph, and then use a water elemental freeze to keep it in place for the Glacial Spike one shot to easily obliterate bosses in a single hit!

We did this for two bosses, could have kept going for more but it felt a bit too much like abusing the bug instead of just doing a showcase of it.

The bug has like always been reported to Blizzard and fixed on the beta realms before being made public.

I missed you all and lets look forward to the War Within!
