Background:
This boss was a lot harder than the Primal Council, unlike the council where I spent 40 minutes just spamming a few buttons, here I had to keep constant focus for almost an hour, with the boss easily killing me if I screwed up

The first 10 minutes are really easy, even the debuff on his main ability Burning Wound is survivable at 30 stacks. I spent this time nuking him as much as I were able to before berserk, since the further I got him down the less I would have to fight him fully powered!

Once berserk kicks in, he gets a 900% damage boost to everything he does. I will not be able to stand face to face with him any longer and have to resort to unholy tactics... of running for my life

You see I set my eyes on this boss months ago, before 10.7. But I realised that it would be too hard to survive him since we didn't have the resources that we do after the patch. The most important one being Unbound Freedom making our Blessing of Freedom give us a 30% speed boost, aswell as Divine Steed duration being 1 second longer!

All of this was needed, aswell as grinding as much speed stat as possible, to reach a baseline 30% additional run speed.
He stops to cast his abilities, and the arena is really big. Both of these things are important to make this solo doable.

Even better is that he has a phase where he channels elementals around the room without using his auto hit! This happens every 2 minutes and allows us to do damage to him, aswell as recharge our kiting cooldowns.

Walking through these elementals are deadly because they scale with the 900% damage boost... good thing we got Divine Shield also coming off cooldown just intime to sneak past them!

The abilities that are deadly when kiting him are Incinerating Roar and Flamerift. Incinerating roar does about 500k damage (before reductions) thanks to Berserk, and Flamerift does a bit more than 300k.

I don't know if I should be happy or sad that tanks are able to survive abilities from a 900% damage boosted boss in the same raid tier...

At one point during kiting, these two abilities will go off within the same second, doing massive damage. This is one of the most dangerous parts of the encounter where you can easily die if you lose focus!

However if you manage to keep your focus for about 1 hour, this boss is definitely soloable! However I don't think any other tank than Protection Paladin would be able to...

A gift that helped me out SO much was Nitro Boosts. They have a 2 minute cooldown which aligns perfectly with his phase changes, and they are working just like the old speed potions that are gone in Dragonflight (don't tell blizz or they will probably nerf these too)

Also a massive thank you to Klactiséén and Zoutch (both Argent Dawn) for giving up the speed boosted Algeth'ar Puzzle Box!
Zoutch could have used it as his last BIS item but let me have it since it would have been so useful in this solo
