Authenticated EAS Civil Danger Warning (Hawaii Ballistic Missile)

On Saturday, January 13, 2018 an authenticated Civil Danger Warning transmission was broadcast across the State Of Hawaii (U.S.A.) alerting of an imminent ballistic missile strike on Hawaii, or the adjacent waters. This alert was broadcast over terrestrial radio, broadcast television, and digitally over Wireless Emergency Alerts. It was determined that this was a False Alarm, and there was no threat to the State Of Hawaii.
