On March 25th, Pat Murray took the stage at the State of the Gulf of Mexico Summit.
Pat Murray leads Coastal Conservation Association (CCA), the largest fisheries conservation organization in the world. CCA members, through their programs, purchasing of fishing licenses and the excise taxes on their gear, are the largest private contributors to Gulf restoration of any conservation oriented NGO. Under Pat's leadership, CCA has collaborated with industry to create a model to conserve habitats. Its joint initiatives with Shell Oil Company are some of the most progressive and successful anywhere.
