Scroll to the end of the description for Persecuted Church information and Links. Pastor Scott Craig brings real context to the Apostle Paul's declarations against the Judizers who were trying to make themselves equal to or greater than Paul as apostles of Jesus. Paul was on both sides of persecution. He was both a persecutor and then, as he writes in today's chapter, chapter 11, he was severely persecuted, just as Jesus told him, "I will show you how much he will suffer for my name."
Christians are still suffering for believing in Jesus. Not so much in the Western world, but everywhere else globally. At the risk of death, Christians in other lands still meet, evangelize, and worship our Lord and Savior. Increasingly, we see it here. Let us not grow faint as the time continues until the King's return. We should come alongside those under the tangible threat of punishment because of their faith in Jesus.

"According to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom's 2020 report, Christians in Burma, China, Eritrea, India, Iran, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Vietnam are persecuted; these countries are labeled "countries of particular concern" by the United States ..." The same report recommends that Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, the Central African Republic, Cuba, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Sudan, and Turkey constitute the US State Department's "special watchlist" of countries in which the government allows or engages in "severe violations of religious freedom". -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecu...
