The SD-2xIn is an IoT monitoring device that connects 2x DI (Digital Input) to the Portal. Each DI reads the status of a connected external detector (door contact 0/1) and Portal can analyze it, show graphs or send alerts. S0 pulse outputs can also be connected to monitor water or gas consumption.
Remote DI (Digital Inputs) device SD-2xIn connects states and counters of two DI on the device to the Portal (SensDesk Technology) user account. The SD-2xIn device and the Portal are HW group products and are seamlessly integrated.
2 independent DI (Digital Inputs) also count pulses (S0 counter). The SD-2xIn device is powered by an external 5V power supply or by PoE (Power over Ethernet).
The SD-2xIn is an IoT monitoring device = portal service is required. The device management portal can be a public service or installed in your own environment (on-premise).
Free portal service (HWg-cloud.com) is available for up to 20 devices. Paid portal service available from multiple vendors (any SensDesk Technology portal).
Digital inputs for popular 3rd party detectors
DI (Digital Input) for dry contact (relay output) is the most popular electrical interface for 2-state detection (doors open/closed or water tank full/empty).
Counting pulses on DI is a useful feature that enables energy/water consumption applications. Simply connect the water meter with pulse output to the SD-2xIn device and the water meter is monitored in the portal (based on SensDesk technology).
