*EASY* $10 DIY Ribbed Glass Light Fixture Makeover (No Wiring Required!)
With just $10 DOLLARS (!!!), I'm upcycling a "blah" ceiling light and turning it into a vintage-style, semi-custom gold/ribbed glass flush mount ceiling light fixture. This makeover is easy, fast, and you don't need any electrical experience to do it!
I was inspired to make this video during my latest video, a low-waste, low-spend DIY walk-in closet makeover. I was working with a budget, but I wanted a fancy/expensive look for less. All you need is a little spray paint, a new lightbulb and a new shade.
This can be made into a renter friendly house or apartment makeover by simply switching out the glass shade and adding a new lightbulb instead of removing the actual flush mounted wall fixture. It's amazing what a few small changes will do.
And, like I mentioned in my video, you don't have to follow my lead exactly. I hope this video inspires you to take what you have already and "zhuzh" it up.
