Another e-bike build! Modified a Babboe Big child transport to add a 1000 Watt mid drive motor. I show how I have to cut the frame and form a piece of steel to weld in place. this is my fourth e-bike build, but by far the most complex and largest motor.
I consulted a machinist about this mod and he confirmed that the missing section would not be a problem and that the piece that was welded in place was not only insurance but overkill.
