Using a the parts from a donor watch I repair a watch with a broken screen.
This is my first screen replacement and second gear fit repair. I think the hardest part is safely getting the battery out without damaging it. Now that I have had one apart I can say that you should only pry from the battery connector end as it seems to have more protection.

The display seems a bit pricey, but these are the links I found so far. I had a unit that had a bad board and battery, so that's what I used. A dead unit with a good display may be worth looking for if you need to replace your display.
