Off-Grid cabin walk through. Cabin #3
This is a video walk through of my brother Jeff's Off-Grid Cabin that he built in the mountains 2 hours from his house. All materials were brought in by 4x4 pickup truck and trailer down the dirt road. The off-grid Solar system uses (2) 100 watt solar panels to charge the (4) x 6v batteries and everything inside is 12V. LED lights, USB chargers, gravity fed water, and a propane refrigerator. Everything will cost twice as much as you estimated, and takes 3 times longer than you thought. See what he did and learn from his mistakes, or borrow some ideas. Enjoy !
