An ancient Roman’s trash is treasure to Associate Professor Kevin Dicus, who has spent the past 20 years digging in the ashes of Pompeii. He hopes to answer the questions: How did they reuse garbage? How do they use parts of the city that are way out of the way, on the periphery?
