Be Prepared - Cat-less Headers Defouler Required
I bought a cat-less header for my 2022 GR86. I got a "check engine light" (CEL) (likely, P0420) because I didn't do a complete install. A defouler (aka oxygen defouler, sensor bung adapter, or oxygen sensor restrictor) was required for the second, down stream O2 sensor. I had been delayed getting one. This is my STUPID stupid story about fixing the CEL from NOT having the defouler installed with the cat-less header.
