The Sound of Silence cover - piano with vocal harmonies
Doing something a little different. To date, I think every cover I've shared has been something that I'd heard in a videogame, a movie, or a TV show. This one, just a classic song that I love. I've heard the Simon and Garfunkel version of this song more times than I can remember, and the vocal harmonies always haunted me because of how beautiful they are. You'll notice that the harmonies in this version are largely different. That's largely because my voice has a different range and texture than Simon and Garfunkel. I'm more of a belter, but I did try to incorporate some of the original harmonies where I could.
I have also heard the Disturbed version, and I must acknowledge it. It's quite good.
Channel Support
If you'd like to help support me and this channel, you can make a small gift at Ko-fi.com by visiting my profile here https://ko-fi.com/wookiefragger. It's like Patreon, but with less commitment! Plus, donating to the ko-fi page triggers the in-stream ROAR, so if I happen to have OBS open, it'll terrify me!
But, if you DO want to contribute to my Patreon to support this channel regularly, you can visit that here / wookiefragger ! I am currently in the process of updating it, so I apologize if it seems a little threadbare right now. It won't stay that way forever!
I also want to thank Andy Feliciotti, HeyYouGuyz, Kevin Doherty, and Meat Popsicle for supporting me on Patreon! You're all part of the reason I'm able to keep this channel up and going.
AND! If you enjoy this channel and want to commemorate the good times you've had with it, you can get your own Wookie Frags Alien Scum ceramic mug at WookieFragger.com!
