ELO - Letter From Spain (Cover) - Aron Janzen
In 1983, Jeff Lynne attempted to get out of his remaining two album contract deal by releasing a double album titled, "Secret Messages". Due to fate, the plans for a double album fell by the wayside and a number of incredible tracks were left in the dust-- unheard for many years. Many fans have dabbled with their own single album track-listings of "Secret Messages", and no doubt "Letter From Spain" is a track that most fans would've preferred been left off of the album in favour of tracks like "Hello My Old Friend".
This cover is my attempt to remedy a few things that I thought were plaguing the song. I believe it to be a well written song, but I am not totally sold on the production.
