How to Make a MASTER COPY in Oils - Oil Painting Process
I wanted to share the steps I use to create a master copy in oil painting on the example of a study I did recently of Abbott Handerson Thayer’s ‘Portrait of a Girl’. I learned a ton from it, and I can't recommend master copies enough to anyone who wants to improve as an artist, especially if you're looking to get better at oil painting.
