This time, I wanted to tell you guys about how to create a preparatory drawing and why it could be extremely useful (even more so when you're painting from imagination!). Essentially, a preparatory drawing is great for exploring ideas and compositions, experimenting, solving problems early on, and gaining confidence for the final painting.
