Skiing Mount Whitney's North Face
I'd been dreaming of skiing Mt. Whitney's north face ever since I first moved to California. The big winter of 2011 finally made it possible, and clicking into skis atop the highest point in the contiguous U.S. was a huge thrill. The actual skiing wasn't too bad, either... May 21, 2011, in the California Sierra.
