First day with the EGO 615 CFM 2.5Ah Battery Powered Leaf Blower
Just bought one of these EGO after doing my own research, as well as getting several recommendations from more seasoned lawn care veterans I follow on here and Instagram. The EGO equipment comes highly recommended and so far for me has lived up to that reputation. Along with the blower, I also got the Powerload Cordless String Trimmer (Haven't tried that out yet)... both with a battery to give myself two batteries I can use with each.
It took me WAY less time than it use to take me with our old chorded blower. Lots if power, which you can use the trigger or dial to set it on 1 of 4 separate levels, and it even has a "turbo" button you can push for a little extra juice when you need it. Turbo will run the battery out much quicker. I had to go through 5 battery changes/charges, however you'd likely prefer to it, to finish my 1,700+ sq ft yard (and that was with the first use playing around with it to test everything out a bit).
Batteries... easy to charge on their charging station and usable with both tools. The one that came with the blower has the light gauge on it that shows you how much charge is left, 5 green lights for a full battery. The one that.came with the reimmer.may be an older version because it doesn't have that, but flashes between gren, orange and yellow lights on the power button as it charges and is green when full. Both the charge has a cooling fan for while charging and will shut off on it's own when the battery gets to full charge.
If you're looking for one, this is definitely one to consider.
