Adobe SpeedGrade Tutorial - How to Achieve Cinematic Footage
In this Color Grading and Adobe SpeedGrade CC tutorial I will be going over many different steps and software I use when color grading my projects in Speedgrade! I am not a pro colorist so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
This is not a in depth tutorial on how to color grade a certain shot, I'm just going over different tools and how they work so you will know how to color grade your own. Color grading is tweaking your films colors to get the look and mood you are going for. I cant teach you how to grade your film, but I can show different tools and how to use them to accomplish the look you want :)
If you notice I'm doing something wrong or say something not correct, let me know, I'm not a professional colorist and I'm always trying to improve as well!
I will be grading footage from my blackmagic cinema camera ProRes 4:2:2 10 bit and my canon t2i h.264 4:2:0 8 bit.
