Richard Avedon is a legend in the portrait and fashion photography world. Some would say he was one of the greatest portrait photographers that have ever lived, and his lighting techniques were actually quite simple. In this video, we use natural light, a white background, and an apple box to capture some amazing minimalist images of a friend of mine, Jesse.

My goals with this channel are to help people deal with suffering in their lives and achieve a balance. Suffering is inevitable and is a fundamental truth. How we deal with it is the problem. I believe it is best dealt with through two practices, one of the physical nature and one of a cerebral nature. I hope to inspire others to develop their own balance through the practices of the physical and creative.
