Dale Lane's fantastic website (https://www.machinelearningforkids.co.uk) allows children to use the visual Scratch development environment to get hands-on experience with an Image Net-trained (http://www.image-net.org/) deep learning model for object recognition and numerous other machine learning related technologies.

You can go to https://www.machinelearningforkids.co... and try it yourself, entirely without creating an account. Using Scratch 3 via this URL adds a number of deep learning and machine learning related code blocks to the Scratch library. Kids and adults can add those blogs to standard Scratch blocks and start using machine learning capabilities without being exposed to the painful setup stuff that goes on in the backend.

Absolutely fantastic! A big thank you goes to Dale Lane (Twitter:   / dalelane  ) @MLforKids (Twitter:   / mlforkids  ) for pulling this off. As far as I know, there is nothing else out there that comes close to the templates offered through MachineLearningforKids.com. You will find the pretrained models, such as ImageNet, here: https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/....
