EA WRC with Sim-Lab push-pull rally shifter - Leaderboard 4th with Polo WRC 2017
My right paddle shifter recently gave up, so I had a good reason to switch to the Sim-Lab push-pull rally shifter. While I drive all kinds of cars in sims, I only compete in rally, so this was a natural choice. In this video there's an additional camera to show the shifter action. I found it pretty easy to adapt to this type of shifter but I'm considering adding a small paddle shifter to left to allow allow all types of shifting.
Here's a short Sweden stage, Ekshärad, with the VW Polo WRC 2017, which also had this type of shifter in real life. After some attempts, I reached 4th on the leaderboard, with a gap of 0.452 seconds to 1st place.
