Reckless motorcyclists cause RFID lane closure on Penang Bridge
On the evening of 30 August, reckless motorcyclists bypassed the motorcycle lane on the Penang Bridge and forced their way through the RFID lane, causing a system malfunction.
A dashcam video captured two motorcyclists tailgating a car and breaking through the barrier despite toll booth staff's attempts to stop them.
As a result, the lane was temporarily closed, and vehicles had to be redirected.
