Apparently Beretta will no longer be importing these CX4 storms, and as a BSG fan, had to pick this up. Heard nothing but praise about the reliability of these things, but unfortunately for me, mine has been running into issues.
This is a clip of the second time taking this out, after a thorough breakdown and degreasing and cleaning/lubing. You can see a couple stovepipes in slow mo near the begining. The first time I took this out, I was getting 3-4 per mag, and also getting stovepipe-like malfunctions where instead of the case sticking out, the case would be caught stuck facing backwards in the ejection port.
Internet advice mentioned it was an issue with me not cleaning the preservative gunk, so I wiped it down, lubed it, and gave it another go, and the issues persist.
Can't say I'm not disappointed. I will be reaching out to Beretta to get this sent back and looked at. Ammo shot was 115gr Browning FMJ, using factory 20 and 30 round magazines. Optic is an older meprolight, and the barrel shroud is fashioned after the flash hiders used in BSG.
