On our recent van life adventure to Turkiye we collided with a wild donkey on the Datca peninsula near Marmaris. The crash left us stuck in the middle of nowhere and without breakdown cover, meaning we needed to rely on the kindness of strangers to help us out!
The crash left us with the van needing 25 new parts, a new passenger door, bonnet and a whole lot of spray paint! Not to mention a hefty bill!
Our van life adventure in Turkiye was amazing, one we'll never forget for both good and bad reasons!
