A figure of terror! - Amon Goeth
Amon Goeth was an Austrian SS-Hauptsturmführer (captain) and the commandant of the Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp in Płaszów, General Government (occupied Poland) during World War II. He is infamously known for his brutal and inhumane treatment of prisoners, directly responsible for the mass murder of Jews and others considered enemies of the Nazi state. Goeth's actions during the Holocaust have made him one of the most notorious figures of Nazi Germany's genocide program.
