It's been a while since I've uploaded a video. I've been putting in time on the M3 but it's not really interesting viewing yet. Most of the work on the BMW is cutting and grinding with the near-term goal of sending it off for a roll cage. On the Subaru, I sold the rare 22b Bilstein struts when my friend Michael sent me a link to these factory Group-N struts for sale in South Africa- I knew I had to have them. I also knew that there would probably be nothing better than the 22b struts but I am always after ways to complicate my life. (and this was a great way to do that, after all) After a few weeks of negotiation, selling my struts, then a month of wrangling SA customs, these showed up. Despite suggestions from the seller, they were NOT ready to go right on the car. Here we embark on disassembling and rebuilding them to be up to standard. Big thanks to my friend Jon at AutoSportif UK for the guidance on parts.
