Welcome to the cupping room! Above our retail space is an office, which houses a myriad of things, but most importantly, the lab we roast and taste our coffee in. Check out what Thompson has been up to recently, and what it's like on a typical Monday. You'll see our sample roasters, cupping materials, and other bits and pieces a coffee enthusiast might be able to spot. You might realize that, besides the machines and tubs of coffee, our Mondays might not be so different from yours!

Based in West Oakland, CA. Sweet Maria's sells green coffee and home roasting equipment. In our spare time, we make Youtube videos. Some are pretty informative, others are really fun, and the rest are just... kinda weird. Our sister business, CoffeeShrub, serves small roasting businesses.
