ROTOLIGHT TITAN X2 - Hands On
What do you think of the light? During lockdown I asked Rotolight if I could have access to the light. Overall impressions: BEAST! BRIGHT! - It's quite heavy! (not in comparison to equivalent lights. Just compared to my other lights). I'd use the Titan on fully crewed shoots or in my studio to save my back.
The whole RGB LED revolution is a dream to me, as I've always added gels to colour my lights. It used to be my differentiator. This tech it equals the playing field. For solo shooters, this light is expensive.
But you could rent this and use it without any training! Also for those who invest in kit, there is a rental market for this. Also this thing is future proof, as it's ahead of the market and it's firmware upgradable.
Ps. Sorry about the out of focus section at the end. I forgot to switch on the auto focus. My youngest daughter didn't notice because she was watching me rather than looking at the EVF lol. Blaming the cute crew!
