1st in New Zealand
2nd in Oceania
51st in the World
What a 2x2 round. Going into today I wanted to break the NR but didn't want to put pressure on myself to do so. I went into this round to have fun and try my best. I didn't feel nervous until the last 2 solves simply because of my mindset. I am happy with how I managed to finally break my NR after a year of sad fails and close calls. Getting this average really means a lot because it breaks a barrier (and a meme) that has been a thing for ages now. The solves were overall quite bad considering the scrambles but I am happy that I didn't completely throw the bag. I will try my best to lower this further in the future. So happy to say that I broke a National Record in the year of 2023!
I'd like to congratulate Carol Chai for her 1.51 FWR3 Average which is NR in my eyes. I'm on top of the world to see you get something that represents how amazing you are.
