How much of your body do you say you own? How do we set healthy boundaries around our bodies? And how do we approach the topic with the youth in our lives to cultivate a culture of honor and respect? These are just a few of the questions we will explore in our upcoming webinar.
Join us as Monica Rivera presents on how to discuss consent with youth. In this presentation, attendees will learn:
• How to explore the concept of body sovereignty as it relates to children
• How to understand the role of human service professionals in a child's development of body sovereignty
• How to understand the importance of body sovereignty as a component of trauma informed care, particularly for families affected by interpersonal violence
• How to develop practical applications for body sovereignty in professional contexts
Whether you’re an educator, extension professional, or the like, this live webinar will give you the tools needed to discuss consent with youth.
