Making SUPER Efficient Faster bows Traditional Archery - Testing the bow and Breaking 200fps w/9gpp! This is a NO EDIT Speed test of one of my NEW Composite Horsebow model. Bamboo is extremely light and strong in both tension and compression. This new combo proves to be the fastest bow I have ever made. This is how a proper speed test is done. Realistic as it gets with no editing in between shots, weighing the bow and the arrow and using that very arrow in the test. Drawing it to the end of the 29 inch shaft removes all doubt. The industry standard for testing all traditional bows is using 29 inch draw with 9 grains per pound of bow draw weight. In this case a 39 lb bow mulitplied by 9 grains per pound equals 351 grains total arrow weight. My arrow was 29 inches long weighed 356 grains and my bow is 39 pounds of draw at 29 inches. This is the proper bow testing method for true results. These bows are not concerned with humidity or inclement weather like all natural composite bows. I efficiently use materials that have been trusted and in use in the traditional archery world for more than 75 years to create a modern replica of my primitive bamboo horsebow design and the results are incredible! They are very fast nimble and extremely light in the hand weighing in at less than 10 ounces. Stable with a super smooth draw. Test done with standard d97 bowstring, regular arrow and finger tab release. These shoot like they are 10 lbs stronger but feel like they are 10 lbs less and incredible to use. Built in the USA!
