Easiest way to make siyahs is to use dimensional lumber and and shape them down to final dimensions using simple tools. Any hardwood with straight grain will do.
Size, weight and where the string groove goes is very important in overall design! Couple of my secret simple no tiller killer bow designs. Simple list of materials needed to build these 2 bows:
