Emma, Bernard Leach’s Great Grandchild, has chosen her favourite mug made by her Father, Philip Leach, for her 30th Birthday. Emma loves this mug as it captures the likeness and character of her beloved dog, Flo.
‘Pottery & People’ is a collaborative online exhibition running throughout 2020 as part of the Leach Pottery’s centenary celebrations. It is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the ceramic objects in our homes, and the Leach Pottery encourages everyone to get involved. From your everyday mug, to a family heirloom, the Leach invites you to share the story of your favourite piece of pottery or ceramics.
