SOLIDWORKS 2021 New Features & Enhancements: Drawings
There have been a lot of enhancements and new features in @solidworks 2021. 2021 enhances your interactive performance in 2D drawings. Drawings are a different way to express your 3D model and there's a lot of graphic information there, so whether you're opening up your drawings with the recently introduced detailing mode or opening up with fully resolved mode, either way, you're going to notice that interacting with your drawings are much faster.
Why? Because we can now apply the new graphics pipeline for 3D model rotation interaction and we're applying that to 2D drawings.

Watch a side-by-side comparison of #SOLIDWORKS2020 and #SOLIDWORKS2021. With the new graphics pipeline turned on, everything moves and interacts very fast. Zooming in is smooth; panning is smooth and responsive. The more complicated your drawings are, the more you will notice the smoothness and just how fast it is.
