After the meltdown of the past three weeks, lifts in most Australian ski resorts are now closed, with only Charlotte Pass and Perisher open this weekend. Charlottes closes this Sunday, September 15th while Perisher, which has 11 lifts open, will continue to operate for as long as it can. That aim will be helped this week by much colder winter-like temps and snow showers tomorrow night and heavier falls mid-week and next weekend.
