Another warm and windy day in the mountains, northwest winds up to 95km/hr leading to wind-hold in the NSW resorts. Warm temps, rain and hairdryer NW winds over the past three weeks have hit the snowpack hard and Mt Buller, Baw Baw, Selwyn and Hotham are now closed. Thanks to early season snowmaking Falls Creek Thredbo, Charlotte Pass and Perisher are hanging in with a good cover of soft spring snow on the open terrain.
