This restoration of what many would consider a grail Rolex watch shows the complete process. Condensed into about 18 minutes and without much talking from me this video leads you gently through the beauty and complexity of both the Rolex GMT Master watch and the actions required to bring it back into shape.
The performance of the Rolex 1570 movement at the start of the video is really not very good and by the end of the service this is greatly improved. This makes this 1972 Rolex watch a useful and reliable tool again.
