Panai Satish, a techie by profession has been on a mission to protect the indigenous palm trees and create awareness about its benefits. Hailing from Arani, Sathish moved to Chennai seven years ago.He got to know the significance of palm trees only after meeting people during the jallikattu protest. In 2018, he, along with like-minded people, have sown nearly 80,000 palm seeds in and around Chennai.
