Culpable Homicide v. Murder
Hello Everybody, In this video, we will discuss and understand some very difficult and confusing provisions of IPC - Difference between Culpable Homicide and Murder i.e., Section 299 and 300 of IPC.
Culpable Homicide and murder are covered under the chapter 'Of Offences Affecting the Human Body', under IPC. Sections299 and 300 deal with these offenses. There is a very little difference which separates an offense from being a culpable homicide, then a murder. This element must be understood by the investigating officers and must be proved beyond a reasonable doubt before the court of law. Now let's discuss the meaning of these terms separately and also the differences between the two crimes.
