Steadicam gimbal #3 Two ball bearings
Steadicam gimbal using a universal joint and two ball bearings - one above, and one below the u-joint. The gimbal housing is a little shorter than the previous version, so the counterweights have been reduced somewhat. I have used the same small diameter of metal tubing for the housing. The top yoke of the joint has to be very accurately positioned on the upper bearing.
