Jeff Curto is a Professor Emeritus of Photography at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where he taught from 1984 to 2014.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Bennington College in Vermont. Additionally, he attended Ansel Adams’ last photography workshop in Carmel, California, in 1983. Inspired by the potential for learning that the workshop environment can foster, he began leading annual photography workshops in Italy in 2009.
His photographs of Italy have been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions and are held in many public and private collections. In 2005, his work was featured in the prestigious LensWork magazine.
He is the Past Chair of the Society for Photographic Education's Board of Directors, an Apple Distinguished Educator, and a certified Apple Teacher.
